Tyler Watts
Director of CTE
About: Tyler served as the
Associate Director of Online Learning & the Center for Teaching Excellence
at Bainbridge State College, prior to coming to SWU. He has worked in online
learning and faculty development at various institutions both in the United
States and internationally. He has also taught business and literature courses
at various institutions.
Areas of interest: Authentic
assessment, course design, universal design for learning, and open educational
resources.
Something you may not know about
Tyler is he’s a Hawaii-born, California-native who comes to SWU via Georgia and
Vietnam. If you want to see him struggle, just ask him where he’s from.
If I could tell the SWU faculty one
thing, it would be to come meet with us! We want to know how we can help you
